europe | germany | aachen
i never expected i would end up visiting aachen [the westernmost city of germany, on its borders with belgium and the netherlands], let alone staying for a month, but when you meet amazing people around the world you want to experience where they are from. and michi and unicorn squirrel are some of my favorite people in the whole world. from the first time we met i was drawn to them and even though we didn’t see each other again for nearly 5 months, the connection was still there when i arrived in germany.
during my extended stay, i learned a lot about aachen…and germany…and a whole lot else [michi knows a lot about a lot ;)]. one cool fact – aachen was once the coronation place for german kings.
